Why does my page say "Inactive"?

Usually nothing's wrong. Inactive means the page is connected and enabled — it just hasn't had a comment processed yet.

  • Just connected? You'll see comments arrive in your comment section in real time, but the page stays Inactive until we process the first one. When a comment qualifies, we act on it 1–35 minutes later — a deliberate, human-like delay, not a glitch.
  • We only process comments posted after you connect — older ones aren't backfilled.
  • Still quiet after new comments come in? The usual causes are: the Instagram account got unlinked from its Facebook Page (re-link it), or a parent Business Manager is paused (turn it back on). Once in a while Meta's API lags on their side and processing is delayed.
