What counts as spam or negative?

Every comment is classified into one of six categories. Two get moderated:

Negative Moderated

  • Direct insults, slurs, or aggressive tone aimed at the ad, post, live stream, or page
  • Attempts to discredit the content, e.g., "fake," "AI-generated," "this is staged"
  • Sarcasm, trolling, or minor negativity may get a reply or roast instead of being hidden, depending on your voice replica

Only content that clearly threatens performance or credibility is hidden.

Spam Moderated

  • Unrelated brands, hashtags, promotions, or platform mentions that derail the conversation
  • Link dumping, redirect bait, masked URLs, or external offers pushed through comments
  • Attempts to initiate personal contact between users (e.g., "DM me," "text me"), especially when replying to another commenter
  • Nicely phrased but off-topic comments are still treated as spam if they derail engagement, distract from your goal (call to action), or pose platform risks

The other four get engagement

Interest Engaged

Purchase or engagement intent: "how much?", "where do I order?", "is this available in my size?". The highest-value comments on your page; replies push toward your goal.

Question Engaged

Genuine questions about the post, product, or brand. Answered from the post itself, your Context Library, or common knowledge.

Positive Engaged

Praise and support. Gets a reply or a reaction to keep the momentum, or is intentionally left alone when a reply would add nothing.

Neutral Engaged

On-topic but low-signal comments. Replied to in your page's character when there's something to say, otherwise ignored.

Any category can be switched off per page in Settings: comments in a switched-off category get no reply, no moderation, and no charge.

We catch the noise so your real audience gets heard.
